By 2022, video viewing will account for 82% of all internet traffic.

82%!!!

So, are you part of that traffic? Or are you part of the 18% that “just don’t know where to start” or “aren’t creative enough“ or “can’t afford to do video”?

If you want to create videos to tell the story of your personal brand or your business, but you don’t know much about the gizmos and gadgets that filmmakers use to create visuals, effects, and sound, I’ve got good news for you:

You can make a huge impact just by sharpening your storytelling skills.

The tools will always change. The platforms will always change. You are doing yourself a disservice if you limit your abilities by attaching them too closely to the medium.

However, if you become expert storytellers, then whether you are using your smartphone, a microphone, a video camera, or just chatting at a networking event, you will be able to connect with people, communicate with them effectively, and -- most importantly -- inspire them to change.

That said, here are FIVE different types of video that you should definitely be leveraging heading into 2022:

1. Original Content/Branded Content

2. Corporate Marketing

3. Educational Video

4. Short Form Social Media

5. Live Video

In this episode of The Storytelling Lab, I talk about each of these kinds of video, what they really mean, the subcategories within them, how you can use them for the best marketing and (most importantly, I bet) how you can do it affordably when you don’t have a lot of experience.

The best time to plant a tree (*use video) was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

And I’m here to help you.

Listen at the link above.

Peace and Love,

Rain
